Take control of your prenatal education and prepare for your beautifully unique experience ahead!

The more you prepare for birth, the better you will feel about the outcome, no matter what that may look like.

I teach you how birth works, not just what happens in labor. From early pregnancy through postpartum, you’ll learn the physiology, emotions, and decision-making tools that help you feel informed instead of overwhelmed.

You’ll understand labor in a way that removes fear and replaces it with clarity, language, and confidence.

birth education that actually makes sense.

Most people are handed information in pieces. I bring it together.

You’ll learn everything from pregnancy anatomy and fetal positioning to labor stages, interventions, and postpartum recovery in a way that connects the dots. Not memorization. Understanding.

This is education that helps you make decisions in real time, not just passively “prepare.”

is childbirth education right for you?

The journey to parenthood doesn’t come with a manual, but it shouldn't feel like walking through the dark. If you’re wondering if a dedicated class fits into your birth plan, consider where you are right now.

you may need childbirth education if...

  • You want to feel truly empowered. You aren’t looking to just "get through it"...you want to be an active participant in your birth story.

  • The "unknown" feels heavy. If you feel lost or unsure about the physiological process of birth, education turns fear of the unknown into confidence in the known.

  • You’re seeking a "redo." Perhaps your last birth experience didn't go as planned, and you are determined to navigate this one with more tools, advocacy, and intention.

  • You want to bridge the gap between clinical and holistic. You’re looking for a perspective that respects the sacredness of birth while understanding the modern medical landscape.

  • Your partner wants to help but doesn't know how. Education gives your support team a concrete "toolbox" so they can be your rock, not just a bystander.

  • You want to feel informed, not just told. You want to understand your options, your rights, and the "why" behind every decision.

childbirth education significantly improves maternal outcomes by reducing anxiety, increasing confidence, and lowering the likelihood of cesarean sections.

  • Studies show that structured classes help reduce pain medication use, increase vaginal births, and improve postpartum care. Education often covers evidence-based care, labor comfort measures, and pain management. (National Institutes of Health)

Key Findings from Studies on Childbirth Education

  • Improved Birth Outcomes: Research indicates that women who participate in childbirth classes are roughly 25% more likely to have a vaginal delivery.

  • Reduced Interventions: Attending classes is associated with fewer planned cesarean sections and reduced use of pain medication.

  • Reduced Anxiety & Increased Confidence: Education helps alleviate fear, increases confidence in birth, and empowers parents to make informed decisions.

  • Long-term Benefits: Beyond labor, education is linked to better breastfeeding rates, safer infant sleep practices, and increased attendance at postpartum visits.

  • Ideal Timing: Researchers and educators often recommend taking classes during the third trimester and registering early.

what to expect

This is an interactive, educational experience. You are encouraged to bring snacks, water, and anything you need to stay comfortable throughout the day.

Because every group is different, timing may flex slightly depending on questions and discussion. Some sections may go deeper if participants want more detail, while others may move more quickly depending on the flow of the day.

birth preparation

We start with the foundation. You’ll learn how labor actually works, what to expect from early labor through birth, and how to understand your body’s natural process. We also talk through roles of the birth team, informed consent, communication, and how to make decisions confidently in real time.

body preparation

We shift into how your body physically prepares for birth. This includes understanding anatomy, movement, and what supports optimal positioning for labor and baby.

body balancing and movement

You’ll be guided through practical stretches and positioning techniques that support comfort, alignment, and space for baby. These are simple tools you can use leading up to labor and during early labor.

labor positions and comfort measures

We go through hands-on positions for early labor, active labor, and pushing. You’ll learn how movement, gravity, and positioning can change your experience of contractions and help you work with your body instead of against it.

postpartum preparation

We close the day with what happens after birth. You’ll learn what recovery actually looks like, how to care for your body, what newborn life is really like, and how to prepare emotionally and physically for the fourth trimester.

the breakdown

This is a full-day, immersive birth education experience designed to give you a complete understanding of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum in one focused session.

Instead of spreading classes out over weeks, we cover everything in a single day so you leave feeling informed, grounded, and prepared without information overload over time.

This workshop is taught in a small group setting.
